We are pleased to announce that beginning in 2020 we will be offering waterfowl hunts in Arkansas! Over the past several years there has been a lot of interest from our hunters for opportunities that can only be offered in other flyways. We began preparations for these hunts almost 2 years ago, and are now able to bring those opportunities to you!
Over the past 2 seasons we have conducted extensive research on the possibility of offering both Duck and Goose hunts in Arkansas throughout the months of January, February, and March. Recently we began surveying our hunters, asking key questions that have helped us tailor these hunts to the desires of our customers. The most important question however, was simply "Are you interested?'...Much to our surprise, an overwhelming amount of our current clientele base showed sincere interest, several even asking if we would take their deposits! Good news for those individuals, YES we are now accepting deposits and taking reservations for both 2020 AND 2021 Arkansas hunts!

Spring Snow Geese

Our hunts will begin this coming February for Spring Snow Goose hunts during the conservation order. These hunts are similar to the conservation order hunts that we offer here in the Atlantic Flyway only a little more..."liberal" on the regulations. No bag limits and ACTUAL unplugged guns (No NY 7 round regulation) make a good day of snow goose hunting in Arkansas an experience that will never be forgotten! What sweetens the deal, is that there is NO LICENSE REQUIRED while hunting the spring C.O. in Arkansas!
You read that correct...You DO NOT need to purchase a hunting license to  hunt snow geese during the conservation order in Arkansas! All you need to bring is a Federal Duck Stamp! In the event that we are forced to move North to Missouri to follow the migration, a license would be required but is very inexpensive in comparison to the non-resident license rates of the Northeast. On an average hunt in Arkansas or Missouri, our hunters can expect to see a staggering number of migrating snow geese that far surpass the numbers we witness here in New York and Pennsylvania. This means that on a year with a good hatch rate (such as this year) there will be more Juvenile birds for our Arkansas hunters than there are TOTAL BIRDS in the Atlantic Flyway! Not to mention the Ross goose, which are common on these hunts, but rare and practically non-existent in the Atlantic Flyway. Which might we add, was estimated to have had a record hatch this spring! Anyone who has hunted snows, or knows anything about hunting snows will tell you, the JUVIES provide the barrel burning shoots that have you icing your shoulder back at the lodge! Speaking of which, there are also private lodging accommodations offered for these hunts! Our hunters will have the option to book rooms at our private lodge, making communication with guides much easier and making the overall hunting experience much more convenient than from a hotel.

Specklebelly Hunts

In addition to Snow Goose hunts, we will also be offering Specklebelly hunts. These hunts will be ran through the month of January and are being scheduled for January of 2021. Unfortunately with our show schedule, we are not able to offer these hunts for January of 2020. However, these are the hunts that you need to book a year in advance! We have contacted those who have shown interest in these hunts and there are already dates being filled! These dates are VERY LIMITED and currently we have only 12 days left available for January 2021!!!
Those looking to hunt for Specklebellys will also have the option of hunting ducks as well! We will be offering a Duck/Speck combo hunt that combines the best of both worlds all in one day! This is a great hunt for bucketlist hunters from the Northeast to harvest mature, fully plumed species of waterfowl other than Specklebellys to include Ross Geese, Pintail, Shovelers, Teal and more! A duck/goose combo can be incorporated into any January Speck hunt. It is not uncommon to harvest snow geese, blue geese, and ross geese on these speck hunts which make it a perfect mixed bag opportunity! Not only does the Specklebelly make a specatcular taxidermy specimen, but they are virtually unmatched by other waterfowl species when presented on a dinner plate! The taste and quality of the meat is indescribable, and the taste alone will have you planning a return trip for more!
Whether it be conservation order snow geese, or January specks, consider us for your next hunting adventure! Our rates can be viewed here on our website as well as our contact form for more information. You can always call us direct at 315-783-6679 for more information or to book one of the spectacular hunts!
